Is Madeira right for me?

Why we ask sixteen questions instead of three
A three-question quiz produces a three-question answer, and you can already guess what it says. Whether Madeira works for you turns on your passport, your income type, whether there are children, whether you need a hospital nearby, and which side of a mountain you can live with in February. Those are different questions with different consequences, and the honest result is often come and stay for two weeks first.
Nothing here is advice. It is a reading of what you told us, pointed at the guides that carry the sources.
Questions people actually ask
Do I have to give you my email to see the result?
No. There is a skip link under the form, and it works, the full result appears either way. We ask because the written version, with the sources and the sequence laid out, is genuinely more useful to have in an inbox three months from now than on a screen for four minutes.
Is this financial, tax or immigration advice?
No, and it never will be. It is a reading of the answers you gave, pointed at guides that carry named sources and the date each one was last checked. Every route it mentions has its own rules, its own paperwork and its own exceptions, and a licensed professional in Portugal is the person who applies those to you.
Why does it ask about my passport before it asks about money?
Because citizenship changes the process far more than income does. An EU citizen registers at a town hall. A third-country national applies for a visa from abroad, months in advance, and that timeline, not the house search, becomes the critical path. Asking about budget first would sort people into the wrong queue.
Can the result tell me I should not move to Madeira?
Yes, and one of the eight results does exactly that — it says come and stay for two weeks first, and it is the honest answer more often than a property site would like. A quiz that flatters everyone into the same conclusion is a sales form, not an assessment.
What happens to my answers?
They stay in your browser while you take it, so you can close the tab and come back. If you give us an address, the answers travel with the report so it is actually personalised rather than generic. We do not sell or rent the list. The privacy policy sets out the detail, including how to have it deleted.
